Forgot your PayPal password? No problem, you can easily create a new one. We explain how here..

If you can't log into PayPal because you've forgotten your password, don't worry. You have the option to reset your old password and create a new one.

Here's how you can reset your PayPal password

To do this, follow our step-by-step instructions , the quick start guide or the explanatory video .

1st step:

Navigate to the PayPal login page and click on " Having trouble logging in? ".

2nd step:

On the next page you now have to enter the email address for your PayPal account. If you have forgotten this too, simply click on "Forgot your email address? ".

3rd step:

To confirm your identity, you will be subjected to a security screening. You will be sent a six-digit code for this . You can choose between different methods by which you can obtain the code.

4th step:

Next you will be asked to enter the code you received. You can always go back here and change the method for receiving it using the " Confirm otherwise " button .

5th step:

You can then set your new password . Choose a password that is as secure as possible.

1. Go to the PayPal login page and click on " Having trouble logging in? ".
2. Now enter the email address from your PayPal account . If you have forgotten this too , click on " Forgot your email address? ".
3. PayPal will now verify your identity. You will receive a six-digit code for this . You can choose different methods for obtaining the code.
4. Then enter the code . You can always go back here and choose another method by which you would like to have the code sent.
5. Last but not least, you can set your new password .
