PayPal is one of the safest online payment methods. However, it is still advisable to change your password regularly. You can change your PayPal password at any time in your profile.

How to change your PayPal password

Follow our step-by-step instructions , the quick start guide or the explanatory video .

1st step:

Log into PayPal and go to settings using the gear symbol above .

2nd step:

Now switch to the " Security " tab at the top . If you then click on " Update " under " Password " , you can change your current password.

3rd step:

Enter your new password . Make sure, however, that you use a password that you will not use anywhere else . We explain here how to find a particularly secure password.
