You wanted to try Amazon Prime free for a month, but have enough now? Then cancel your subscription in good time..

Amazon is offering a one-month free trial for Prime. But as soon as this period has expired, the paid subscription begins immediately. It is therefore advisable to end the trial month in good time. You can still keep your Prime benefits until the end of your trial month - despite cancellation.

How can I end my Amazon Prime trial month?

The Amazon Prime trial membership can be canceled in the same way as a normal Prime membership:

1. Go to the Manage My Amazon Prime Membership website .
2. In the " Next payment " area you can see until when your current month is still running. This also applies to the period of the trial month.
3. Under " Update and cancel " you will find the option " End membership - forego benefits ". Don't worry: even if this sounds intimidating at first, you will retain all of the benefits of your Prime membership until the current period expires. Your membership will be automatically terminated after the free period.
4. Please note: Remember to cancel your membership in good time. Otherwise there are costs of € 7.99 per month or € 69 per year (depending on the selected tariff).
