PayPal allows you to easily add, change or remove email addresses. In these instructions we explain exactly how this works and what you have to pay attention to.

Open paypal.com and log into your account. Click the gear icon in the top right to open the settings.

Add another email address

In the "Email Address" area, click the " + " symbol to add an email address. Enter your address in the window and confirm it.

change E-Mail address

To change an e-mail address that is not stored as a standard , simply click on " Update " next to the address. Make the changes you want and click on " Change email address ". You cannot change the address that you have currently saved as the default . To do this, click on the “ + ” symbol in the “ E-mail address ” area, enter the changed address and confirm it. You can now save the new address as the default. To do this, click next to this address on " Update ", check" Use as default email address for notifications "and click on" Change email address ". To delete the old address, click next to it on " Remove " and confirm.

Delete email address

Next to the address you want to remove from PayPal, click Remove . If you want to delete the email address that you have set as the default , you must first set another address as the default. To do this, add an address as described above and click on " Update " next to it. Check the box next to " Use as default email address for notifications " and click on " Change email address ". Now the old e-mail address is no longer stored as the standard and you can click on " Remove " to remove it " Clear.

In the PayPal app, tap the gear icon in the upper right corner .

Then select the first item " Personal data " in the settings .

3rd step:

Now tap on the " E-Mail Addresses " field.

4th step:

You now have two options: You can add a new email address by tapping on " + Add new email address ". Or you can view and change your standard email address by tapping the " Standard " field.

Enter the new e-mail address and confirm with " Add ".

Here you can see your default email address. To change this, tap on the " Change " field with the pencil symbol. Note: To change your default email address, you must first set a new email address as the default.
