Checkmarks can be used in a variety of ways in PowerPoint: You can use them to mark a correct result or display a checklist, for example. There are several ways to insert a tick symbol in PowerPoint. We'll introduce them to you in this article.

Hooks as bullets in PowerPoint

If you want to convert a bulleted list into a checklist, follow these instructions:

1st step:

On your slide, mark the bullet points that you want to be checked off.

Now click on the small arrow next to the bulleted list under the " Start " tab under " Paragraph " . In the menu that opens, select the check marks as bullets.

Insert a check mark in the PowerPoint text

To insert a check mark in the running text of your presentation, proceed as follows: Set the font to " Wingdings ". Hold down the [ Alt ] key and write the number combination " 0252 ". A check mark appears. Alternatively you can write a "ü" directly or a "ü" in another font, mark it and change the font to "Wingdings".

You can also add a check mark to your presentation as an icon:

Click on your slide where you want the tick to appear. Then go to " Symbol " under the " Insert " tab in the " Symbols " area . A window will open.

Set the font " Wingdings " in the window above . Scroll through the symbols until you see a tick . To insert it, either double click on it or select it and press " Insert ". The check mark is inserted in the background. Then just " close " the window.
