Almost everyone has received spam at some point. These are e-mails that are usually sent to large numbers of people for advertising purposes. You can set up a filter to prevent such unwanted e-mails. Depending on the provider, you can create a list of specific e-mail addresses that will be blocked or moved to the trash. But it works a little differently with every email provider. Block unwanted mail on Gmail

To block a mail in Gmail, you need to go to it. Then click on the three-dot menu at the top right of the mail. You will now see the point "Block [sender name]" there. So you can block the mail from this e-mail address for the future.

Set up email filters at GMX

1st step:

Call up your GMX account and click on " Settings " at the bottom left .

2nd step:

Click on " Filter Rules " on the left and then on " Create your own filter rules ".

3rd step:

Now you can enter a filter rule for mail addresses. For example, you can directly enter a spam address to block. At the bottom select " Move to folder " and then " Suspected spam ". Alternatively, you can also select " Trash ". This means that emails from this sender are deleted directly. Instead of "Move to folder", you can also select " Delete " directly.

Set up a spam filter at t-online

1st step:

Go to your t-online inbox. Click the gear icon in the top right corner, then click " Show All Settings ".

2nd step:

Then select " Filter rules " on the left and " Create new filter rule " in the middle . A popup will now open. Here you can enter the email address to be blocked under " Conditions ". As an " Action " you can enter that the mails should be moved directly to the trash. Finally don't forget to select " Save ".

Automatically block spam messages on Yahoo!

1st step:

Visit your Yahoo mailbox. Right click on the gear icon and then select " More Settings ".

2nd step:

Click on " Filters " on the left. Then go to " Add new filters ". You can now define a new filter rule on the right-hand side. Under " From " enter the email address you want to block. At the bottom you can select " Trash " as a folder. In this way, emails from this address are deleted directly.

Delete unwanted emails from web.de.

1st step:

Go to your inbox and click on " Settings " in the lower left corner .

2nd step:

Now select " Filter rules " on the left and then click on " Create your own filter rules ".

3rd step:

Now enter the address to be blocked at " Sender contains " above . For " Then perform the following action ", you must specify " Delete ". Then don't forget to click on " Set up filter rule ". Unwanted emails from the specified address are automatically deleted.
