Run Safe Mode

  • Turn off the device.
  • Press and hold the Power key after the model name screen that appears on the screen.
  • When SAMSUNG appears on the screen, release the Power key.
  • Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold down the Volume Down key.
  • Continue pressing the Volume Down key until the device completes the reset.
  • When the security mode appears in the lower left corner of the screen, release the Volume Down key.
  • While in Safe Mode, you can uninstall applications that are causing a problem.
