Bluetooth issues in macOS Big Sur

A Bluetooth malfunction is quite common after updating macOS. Here's a quick way to fix the issue when Bluetooth doesn't work in macOS Big Sur: 

1. Press Shift + Option 
2. Click on the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar 
3. Select Reset Bluetooth module> Ok 
4. Restart your Mac.

Nope. This doesn't work. Big Sur has most definitely broken the Bluetooth driver for MACOS. External devices can control the Music app, but MACOS cannot pipe the sound output to external devices (Samsung TVs, Echo Pluses).
