- Turn on your Mac
- Click the Messages icon in your computer's Dock at the bottom of the screen
- On older Macs, the Messages icon is in the applications folder
- On the first launch, macOS will ask you to sign in to your account

- Then click on messages at the top of the window in the menu bar
- Then select the preferences section
- Tap the iMessage tab
- Select the email address or phone number on which you want to be contacted

- Save and close the iMessage preferences window

Enable iCloud Message on Your iPhone

- Open the settings of your iPhone or iPad
- Click on your name at the top of the window
- Select the iCloud section
- Then make sure that the switch placed next to the message messages is activated.
