Would you like to customize the colors of your individual conversations in Signal? Here we show you how to do it..

To make the Messenger Signal prettier, you can change the color of individual conversations. You can change the color of the speech bubble as well as the background image. It doesn't matter whether you send your messages on an Android smartphone or via iOS. Your chats will then be linked in the Signal app and all connected devices, such as your computer.

By the way: In earlier Signal versions, the colors of contacts and user names in Signal group chats could also be adjusted. This no longer works in the latest version.

1st step:

Open a chat with a contact in Signal and tap their name at the top .

2nd step:

You are now in the settings for this contact. Here, tap on the " Conversation Color & Background " option .

3rd step:

Now you can use the various buttons to set an image for the background or adjust the speech bubble color .

4th step:

If you want to change the color of your speech bubble, a color overview opens by tapping it. Simply choose the color that suits you best here. The changes are automatically saved and adjusted.

quick start Guide

1. In Signal, open the conversation with the user for whom you want to edit the colors. At the top, tap your contact's name to open Settings.
2. Then select " Conversation Color & Background ".
3. Now you can adjust the color of your speech bubble using " Conversation Color" and the background using " Set Background ". Your changes will then be adjusted automatically.
