With the update to iOS 15.1, iPhones and iPads receive SharePlay. A feature that allows you to share content such as movies, videos, and music with others through FaceTime. This article explains how to use the new SharePlay from Apple.

How to Share the Screen on a FaceTime Call Using SharePlay!

1st step:

Start the FaceTime app . Then tap on the " New FaceTime Call " button or on a contact from the list of calls that have already been made.

2nd step:

Once the video call is active, you can tap the SharePlay button in the top right to share your screen.

3rd step:

Then select " Share my screen " to cast your screen. After the 3-second countdown , your screen will be shared.

4th step:

While SharePlay is active, you can use your device as usual - i.e. open apps, surf the Internet or listen to music. Make sure that the person you are talking to can see and hear all the content you call up on your device on their iPhone or iPad.

Quick start Guide:

1. Make sure that your device has at least iOS version 15.1 and the FaceTime app .
2. Start the FaceTime app .
3. Then tap on the " New FaceTime Call " button or on a contact from the list of calls that have already been made.
4. As soon as the video call is active, you have to tap the SharePlay button in the upper right corner .
5. Then select " Share my screen " to share content with the person you are speaking to.
6. After the 3-second countdown has elapsed , your screen will be broadcast.
