When you create a document with Pages on your Mac, a problem quickly arises when sending it by e-mail: Windows users cannot open the Pages file. The solution: You convert your Pages document into Word format. Here we show you how to do it:

1. Open the Pages document that you want to convert to Word format.
2. Click on " File " in the menu bar at the top , go to " Export " in the drop-down menu and finally click on " Word ... ".
3. A new window will open. There you can specify whether your document should still be protected with a password. If you don't want that, just click on " Next ".
4. Finally, you can assign a name and a storage location to your document . Confirm your details with " Export " and you have made a Word document out of your Pages document, which can normally be opened on Windows computers without any problems.
