Amazon is the largest online market in the world and is therefore often the first port of call when something needs to be ordered. But what if you are dissatisfied with the order? The shoes are too big, the book has a worn place or the loudspeaker cannot produce any sound? In just a few steps, we will show you how you can carry out your return - completely free of charge.

Note: Amazon returns are free for you if you have received an incorrect, damaged, or defective item; if the value of the goods is over 40 euros and you return the item within 14 days or if you want to return clothing, shoes or handbags..

1st step:

After you have logged into your Amazon account, open your account and click on " My Orders ".

2nd step:

You will now find all of the items you have ordered under “My Orders”. If you would like to return an item, you can do so within 30 days of the order date. To do this, click on " Reset or replace item " next to the relevant item. If the period of 30 days has already passed, you can contact Amazon customer service .

3rd step:

You will then be asked by Amazon for a reason for the return . There are various options here, from " I don't like " to " Do n't give a reason ". You must also write a reason in the field provided. Then click on " Next ".

4th step:

In the next step you have to specify how the return should take place: You can either request a replacement for a defective item or claim your money back . If you have decided to reimburse the price, you can get the value of the item back either in the form of an Amazon voucher or via the original payment method. Confirm your selection again with " Next ".

5th step:

Now all you have to do is click on “ Submit ”. On the next page you will then receive a return slip that you can print out directly. Stick it on your package and use it to send the goods back to Amazon.

1. Log in to Amazon and click on " My Orders " in your account .
2. If your order is not more than 30 days in the past, click on " Return or replace item" for the selected item .
3. Include a reason why you want to return the item.
4. Now choose whether you would like to have the item sent again or whether you would like the money to be reimbursed .
5. Click on " Submit " and initiate the return.
