Who does not know it: You are currently working on a Mac and suddenly nothing works anymore - the program is frozen and does not react. The "Quit Immediately" function, with which you can force the program to quit, helps with such problems. We show you how it works.

  1. Press the key combination [alt] + [cmd] + [esc] . Alternatively, click on the apple symbol in the top left of the menu bar and select " Quit immediately ... ".
  2. A new window will appear with all open programs. Select the crashed program there and click on " Quit immediately ".
