Would you like to export a Spotify playlist for external backup? We explain how to do it here..

If you've been using Spotify for a long time and have laboriously put together your favorite playlists, exporting them is not a bad idea. However, there is no feature in the Spotify app or in the desktop version that allows you to do this. But there are tons of free tools for doing this. They then create a list of your song titles that you can send on or print out. You can also transfer Spotify playlists to other streaming services. We explain here how you manage to export.

How to export your Spotify playlist

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the quick start guide .

1st step:

Open this website: https://www.tunemymusic.com/de/ and first click on " Let's go ". Then click on the " Spotify " button .

2nd step:

Now enter your access data for Spotify and confirm with " Login ".

3rd step:

The service requires authorized rights from Spotify to function. Read them through and confirm the registration process with " I agree ".

4th step:

You now have the choice of having all of your playlists loaded automatically or importing a specific playlist via a Spotify playlist URL. We choose the first option and move on.

5th step:

You can then choose the playlist that you want to move. This works easily with the selection via a tick to the left of the playlist. Once you have made up your mind, click on " Next: Select target ".

6th step:

You can then choose the format in which the playlist should be downloaded. You can also transfer your playlist to another music streaming service , such as Deezer . Just convert the list and then log into your account. The download will then start automatically . As an example, we choose the simple export to a csv file for the instructions.

Please note that when you export and import your playlist to another streaming service, not all songs may be transferred, as the song quota can vary from provider to provider.

7th step:

After you have successfully selected the streaming service for export, you will receive a summary. " Start moving my music " will then start exporting your Spotify playlist.

1. Open this link: https://www.tunemymusic.com/de/ . You can also use another tool. You can continue with " Let's go " and " Spotify ".
2. Sign in with your Spotify credentials .
3. Authorize the required rights via " I agree ".
4. Either you will now automatically load all of your playlists or you can import a specific playlist via a Spotify playlist URL.
5. Confirm the selection of the playlist via a checkbox that is activated with a tick. Once you have made up your mind, click on " Next: Select destination ".
6. In the next step, select another streaming service as the destination of your playlist or you can export the playlist as a file.
7. When you click " Start moving my music ", the export of your Spotify playlist will start.
