Several e-mail addresses can be set up at the same time under Apple Mail. This means that you have all of your email accounts in one place. It is particularly practical that no further settings have to be made for popular services such as Google or Yahoo! The process also works without problems for services such as GMX or WEB. This is how you can set up your email account with Apple Mail

1st step:

To add an account, open the Apple menu in the upper left corner and click on " System Preferences ".

Under " System Preferences " go to " Internet Accounts ".

Now select the option that corresponds to your email account. We choose " Google " in our instructions . For an account with e.g. web.de or gmx.de click on " Other E-Mail-Account " and then on " Mail-Account ". In the next step, enter your email address and your password .

4th step:

Enable synchronization with Apple Mail by a next mail hook set. Confirm the process by clicking on " Done ". Apple Mail will now automatically synchronize your e-mail account and add it as a mailbox.

Note: If you have already set up other accounts in Apple Mail, the account selection may not appear directly. To do this, click on the small + symbol under the other accounts so that the selection menu appears..
