Would you like to switch off your iPhone XS completely, for example to save energy or during a flight? For some modes, too, you may have to switch off the smartphone beforehand. With the iPhones of the X series, the function can be found via a combination of hardware buttons. Alternatively, you can choose the method via the settings. We explain how both methods work in our tips + tricks.
To completely turn off the iPhone XS, hold down the power button on the right side and either the volume down or volume up button down until the slider "off" appears.

Alternatively, you still have the method via the settings . To do this, go to the " Settings "> " General " app on your iPhone . Now swipe all the way down and tap on the entry " Switch off " . Your iPhone should now shut down.
