For older programs in particular, for which updates are no longer available, it can be helpful to start the program in the XP version of the Windows operating system. Unfortunately, XP mode can only be fully executed up to Windows 7. However, under Windows 10 it is possible to start certain programs under Windows XP. Here's how it works.

1st step:
You will find the installed programs on the hard drive of your computer (usually under " C: \\ "). Right- click on the program you want to run in XP mode and then go to " Properties ". 2nd step:
In the newly opened dialog window, switch to the " Compatibility " tab . 3rd step:
Select the item " Run program in compatibility mode for " and select " Windows XP " from the drop-down menu below . Finally click on " Apply " and " OK ". quick start Guide
- Make a right click on the program you want to open in XP mode. Then click on " Properties ".
- Switch to the " Compatibility " tab in the new window .
- Check the box next to " Run program in compatibility mode for ". In the drop-down menu below, select " Windows XP " and finally click on " Apply " and " OK ".
