If you want to put an annotated PDF on paper and also want to print out the comments, you can do this effortlessly with Adobe Reader. We'll show you how to do it in the following article.

How to print out PDF comments

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the quick start guide .

1st step:

Open your PDF document in Acrobat Reader and then click " Comment " on the right to open the comments section.

2nd step:

Now click on the three-point menu at the top right and then on " Comment preferences ".

3rd step:

Check the item " Print notes and popups " and remove the checkmark for " Hide comment popups when the comment list is open ". Then close the menu.

Intermediate step: Open and arrange popups

Now you have to open all the comments in the document that you want to print by clicking on the respective yellow marking and position them so that they do not overlap. Alternatively, you can open all comment pop-ups by right-clicking on a comment and then clicking on " Open all comment pop-ups ". Also, make sure that the comments are within the margins of the page.

Then click on the " Print " button .

Now select " Summarize Comments " and then click on " Print ".

1. Open your document with Adobe Reader and then click on " Comment ".
2. In the comment section you now have to edit the " Comment Preferences ". To do this, click on the three-point menu .
3. Check the option " Print notes and pop-ups " and remove it from the option " Hide comment pop-ups when the comment list is open ". You can now close the menu.
4. Open all of the comments in the document by clicking the yellow marker and positioning them within the margins of the page so that they can be fully printed. Make sure the comments don't overlap.
5. Now click on " Print ".
6. Select " Summarize Comments " and confirm with " Print ". Your file will now be printed including the comments.
