Once the connection has been established, the device appears under " Paired devices ". If Bluetooth is activated on both devices and they are close enough to each other, they will automatically reconnect. For example, you don't have to select and pair your headphones every time. Tap the gear next to a paired device , for example to change the name displayed or to unpair it again .

7th step:

When you return to the " Connections " setting , you will see the " Phone visibility " item under " Bluetooth ". If you activate this, every Bluetooth device in the vicinity can see your smartphone and establish a connection with it. If you deactivate this setting, your smartphone is only visible to other devices while you are in the Bluetooth settings. If you leave this, your mobile phone can only be perceived by paired devices and not by strangers, even if you have activated Bluetooth. We recommend that you deactivate the " Phone Visibility " setting .

quick start Guide

  1. Open the smartphone settings , tap " Connections " and then select " Bluetooth ".
  2. Activate Bluetooth by tapping the slider . Your smartphone will then automatically search for available and switched on Bluetooth devices nearby. To search again, tap " Scan " in the upper right corner .
  3. To now connect to a device , tap on it. It then appears under " Paired devices " and will automatically connect to your smartphone in the future if Bluetooth is activated and it is nearby.
  4. Tap the gear next to a paired device to rename or unpair it .
  5. When you open the Connections preference again, you'll see the Phone Visibility option . If this is activated, other Bluetooth devices can see your smartphone and connect to it. If the option is deactivated, your smartphone will only be visible to other devices if you are in the Bluetooth settings. After leaving, only paired devices can see and connect to your smartphone. You should select the " Phone visibility " disable .
