Did you record a video in the wrong format and would like to rotate it? We'll show you how it works with the iPhone:
With spontaneous snapshots with the iPhone it can happen that you start filming in portrait format and then switch to landscape format. The iPhone still saves the video in portrait format. If you want to use the video later for a film, for example, the format is wrong and the video should be rotated. Fortunately, there is the possibility to shoot the video afterwards with the help of an app. Since the update to iOS 13, rotating is even possible in the Photos app. We show both variants in our article.
We chose the " iMovie " app for this article because it is preinstalled on the iPhone and is easy to use . Alternatively, you can also use apps such as " Video Rotate " or " Rotate & Flip ". If your iPhone runs on iOS 13 , the procedure is different. We explained it for you in the second section of this article..
