Remove Avira manually

First download the Avira Registry Cleaner and then start your PC in safe mode .

Depending on the folder in which you saved Avira during installation, go to the " Programs " or " Programs (x86) " folder on your computer's hard drive and delete all Avira directories .

Then start the Avira Registry Cleaner and accept the license conditions by clicking on " Accept ".

Select all Avira products and then click "Remove " to uninstall them.

Now press the key combination [Windows] + [R] to open the command prompt. Enter " cmd " in the free line and then press the [Enter] key.

After the command prompt has loaded, enter " netsh winsock reset " and press [Enter] again . Finally restart your computer. Avira should then be gone from your PC.

  3. Then start the Avira Registry Cleaner . Click " Accept " to accept the license terms.
  4. Select all Avira products and then click " Remove ".
  5. Open the command prompt with [Windows] + [R] , enter " cmd " and press [Enter] .
  6. Finally enter " netsh winsock reset " and confirm again with the [Enter] key .
