Like any other app, you can simply uninstall the Google Assistant . However, if you want to continue using the Assistant's functions, you can deactivate it. As soon as you open it again, it activates itself again. So if you need a break from the assistant, just deactivate it. However, this is only possible on an Android device. On an iPhone, the Google Assistant can only be completely uninstalled.

How to turn off the Google Assistant

1st step:

Open the Google Assistant on your smartphone. Then tap your profile picture in the top right to open the wizard's settings.

2nd step:

Now switch to the " Assistant " tab and scroll down. Under " Assistant Devices " tap on " Smartphone ".

Then deactivate the slider for " Google Assistant ". The Google Assistant is now deactivated on your smartphone and will no longer bother you.
