When it comes to messaging apps, there is hardly a way around WhatsApp. If you haven't had any experience with it yet and want to finally jump on the bandwagon, it can be done very quickly. It only takes a few minutes of your time to set up.

How to set up WhatsApp

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

Note: The instructions work equally for Android and iPhone..

1st step:

If you have not already done so, download WhatsApp from the App Store (iPhone) or the Play Store (Android) on your smartphone.

2nd step:

After WhatsApp has been successfully installed on your smartphone, open the app. Then tap Agree and Proceed .

3rd step:

Now enter your mobile phone number and then tap on " Next ".

4th step:

You will then receive an SMS with a 6-digit code that you have to enter.

5th step:

After that, you can choose a profile picture and set a name that will be shown to your contacts. Tap " Next " to complete the setup.

1. Download WhatsApp from the App or Play Store and then open the app.
2. Then tap Agree & Continue and provide your phone number .
3. Then enter the 6-digit code that you received via SMS.
4. Now you can select a profile picture and give it a name that will be shown to other contacts.
