Via the status in WhatsApp, you can share texts, photos or videos that will be deleted after 24 hours. Your status will be shared with all your contacts by default. But if you don't want to show a certain status to all of your contacts, you can hide it.

How to hide your WhatsApp status

1st step:

Open the settings in WhatsApp. On Android devices (left) tap on the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and select " Settings ". On the iPhone (right) you will find the settings at the bottom right.

2nd step:

Here tap on " Account ".

3rd step:

Then go to " Data protection ".

4th step:

Under the privacy settings, tap on " Status ".

5th step:

You now have several options to hide your status from contacts: " My contacts except ... " " Share only with ... " With the first option you exclude selected contacts, with the second option you only send the status to selected contacts.

6th step:

Check the box next to the contacts you want to or don't want to share your status with. Then tap on " Done ".
