WhatsApp offers many options for an individually adapted user profile. In addition to the profile picture and the status, you can also customize your display name in the app. If your telephone number is already in the recipient's contact list, the change in your name will not be displayed in the same way on all devices. On iOS and Windows Phone devices, your chats will display the name you set. If you use WhatsApp on an Android device, the messenger adopts the name under which you have saved your contact.
