Do you need a ruler to hand quickly but can't buy one? Then just print one out!

Who doesn't know it? You need a ruler but just can't find one. Instead of going out and buying a new one, you can print one out yourself instead. This also saves you money with your printer. And you can also design the whole thing individually.

How to print out a ruler

1st step:

If you plan to print a ruler, use thicker paper so that the ruler is more stable and easier for you to measure with. Once you have inserted the desired paper into your printer, open a website that offers ruler templates for printing. We recommend lineal-drucken.de . There click on the button " Download & print ruler now ".

2nd step:

Now open Windows Explorer and look for the file you just downloaded. You can usually find these in the " Downloads " folder . Make a right click on the file and select " Open With " and " Adobe Acrobat Reader DC " off.

3rd step:

Click on the " File " category at the top left . Then go to the " Print ... " button .

4th step:

Now select the " Actual size " option under the " Fit to page and options " category . This is important so that the ruler is printed out to scale. Then click on the " Print " button and your ruler will be printed.

2. Now right-click on the downloaded file, which you will find by default in the " Downloads " folder . Then select " Open With " and " Adobe Acrobat Reader DC ".
3. Now click on " File " at the top left and then on " Print ... ".
4. Under " Fit to Page and Options " select the " Actual Size " option . Then click on " Print ".
