The "private surfing" function in Safari is the equivalent of the incognito mode of Google Chrome or the private mode of Mozilla Firefox. When you open a new window in the Safari browser on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, no cookies, cache data or passwords are saved using the private mode. Open Safari on the Mac and choose File > New Private Window from the menu bar at the top to open a private Safari window. Alternatively, you can also press [Shift] + [⌘] + [N] .
