All versions of macOS have a very useful tool called Software Update that you can use to check your computer and see if there are any updates available to download and install. These range from updates for your Quicktime player to general security updates for your entire operating system. It also includes updates to your Safari browser that can be critical to your browser security.

How to update Safari

1st step:

Open the Apple menu by clicking the apple in the top left. Then select " System Settings ... ".

2nd step:

Now click on the " Software update" button .

3rd step:

It will now look for new updates . If your Mac is up to date, there is no Safari update available. Otherwise, wait for the update to download and then click the "Update Now " button .

1. Click on the apple in the upper left corner and then select " System Preferences ... ".
2. Now click on " Software update ".
3. New updates are then searched for. If an update is available, wait for it to download and then click Update Now .
