How to set up an out of office reply in Gmail

1st step:

Open the Gmail website ( https://accounts.google.com/signin ) and log in with your account details. Then click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select " Settings ".

In the " General " category, scroll down to " Out of office notice ". Then select the option " Vacation Notice Enabled ".

Now make the appropriate settings. With " Last day " you can set a limited time period for the vacation notice. With the option " Send the vacation notice to my contacts only ", the note will only be sent to your saved contacts. This will prevent the note from being sent to newsletters and senders of spam emails. Once you have written your out-of-office reply, click on " Save changes ".

With the option " Send out-of-office notice to my contacts only " you prevent your out-of-office notice from being sent to senders of newsletters or spam, as this will only be sent to your saved contacts. Finally, tap on " Done " to save the settings.
