With Thunderbird from Mozilla you can manage several mailboxes at once. A folder structure within your e-mail inbox ensures even more clarity. But what if an important folder is no longer displayed and suddenly disappears? This tipps + tricks article tells you which changes you can make to find the folders again.

Change folder view

If a folder is suddenly no longer displayed in Thunderbird, the view settings are often the main cause. On the top ribbon, click View, then click Folders . The different setting options are listed there. Select " All Folders " to resolve the issue.

Which folders do you see when? We have listed all settings for you in the following table:

All folders	all folders of all e-mail accounts are displayed
Grouped folders	similar folders are shown together
Unread folders	only folders containing unread messages are listed
Favorites folder	Folders that you have marked as favorites
Recent folders	Only the folders in which changes have been made in the past 15 days are displayed here.

Recover deleted folders

Another way to find a missing folder is to look in the trash. A folder may have been accidentally deleted. Click on " Trash " in the left menu to view the deleted items. You can then simply drag and drop the deleted folder back onto your mailbox..
