Deleting your Google Account isn't particularly complicated. However, it should be clear to you what additional items you are removing. So before you finally disconnect from your Google Account, you should first read our notes:

The removal of the Google account brings with it a lot. You should be clear about which external services are connected to the account and will also be deleted. These services include:

  • Gmail
  • calendar
  • Drive
  • YouTube account
  • Contents of the Google Play Store
  • Data linked to the account, such as emails

You can get an overview of all connected services in the " Google Dashboard ". Alternatively, you can also back up your data before removing the account.

Remove Google Account

1st step:

Log in to your Google account, go to your profile icon and then to " Manage Google Account ".

Click "under & personalization data " to " service or Delete account ".

3rd step:

To continue with the deletion of your Google account, click on " Delete my account ".

4th step:

Before you finally give the deletion order, you have to confirm a few conditions . Then confirm with " Delete account ".

Note: If you have accidentally deleted your account, you can also undo the deletion. To do this, contact Account Support .

Quick guide: Remove Google Account

  1. Log in to your Google account , go to your profile icon and then to " Manage Google Account ".
  2. Now go to " Data & Personalization " in the left menu . Now click on the right-hand side on the sub-item " Delete service or account ".
  3. Now go to " Delete my account ".
  4. This will take you to a new page. All connected services and accounts are listed again here. You can also download your data there .
  5. To permanently delete the account, scroll down to the bottom and click on the " Delete account " button . Your Google account is now deleted.
