Apple has integrated an in-house function in the settings with which you can block pre-installed apps on the iPhone. Unfortunately, this feature does not work with self-downloaded apps. You can find out how to set up the lock for preinstalled apps in these tips + tricks.

Note: With this function you limit the use of built-in apps. This means that these apps disappear temporarily from your home screen and are therefore blocked for third parties. Of course, you can also reactivate the apps on the smartphone in the same way..

1st step:

Open Settings on the iPhone and select Screen Time .

  1. Open Settings and select Screen Time .
