How to activate Dark Mode in WhatsApp

To use Dark Mode in WhatsApp, you need at least version 2.20.64. You should therefore check the App Store or Play Store to see whether a new update is available. Follow our step-by-step instructions and take a look at the quick start guide .

1st step:

First, tap on the three-dot menu in the top right. On the iPhone, simply tap on the gear icon to get to the settings.

2nd step:

Then select " Settings " in the menu that opens .

3rd step:

" Chats " will take you to the design settings.

4th step:

Here you tap on " Design ".

5th step:

In the last step you have to set the design to " dark ". Dark mode is now activated in WhatsApp.
