Safe Mode is a troubleshooting feature in Firefox. Here the browser is restarted with deactivated add-ons. In this way, individual add-ons that lead to problems can be edited or uninstalled.

1st step:

In Firefox, open the burger menu (☰) in the top right corner. Then select the point " Help ".

2nd step:

Now click on " Restart with deactivated add-ons ... ". Confirm this selection.

3rd step:

By clicking on " Start in Safe Mode " you confirm again that you really want to start Firefox in Safe Mode.

3. Now click on " Restart with deactivated add-ons ... ". You now have to confirm this entry twice. Firefox will then restart in Safe Mode.
