If you no longer want to use your Snapchat account, you can delete it in two different ways: Either you remove it directly via the app on your mobile phone or tablet, or via your computer.

1st step:

Open Snapchat and go to the little Snapchat logo in the top right corner.

2nd step:

To open the settings, click on the gear in the upper right corner .

3rd step:

In the settings, go to " Support " under " More information ".

4th step:

You will now be redirected to a new page, click on " My Account and Settings ".

5th step:

You will then be redirected. Now tap on " Account Details ".

6th step:

Under " Account Details " you have to go to " Delete my account ".

7th step:

To complete the deletion, you have to click on the link in the text .

8th step:

Finally, you only have to log in again to verify the deletion process.

Note: You can restore your Snapchat account by logging into Snapchat with your details again within 30 days..

Delete the Snapchat account via the browser

1. Before you delete Snapchat via the browser, you should remove the app on your phone or tablet .
2. Then log in to the Snapchat page : accounts.snapchat.com/accounts/login
3. After logging in , you will be taken directly to the " Manage My Account " area. Go to the last point " Delete My Account ".
4. Now you have to verify yourself again with your password and confirm the deletion process. Then follow the further instructions so that your Snapchat account is actually deleted.

Note: Alternatively, you can also use this direct link to delete: accounts.snapchat.com/accounts/delete_account . If you accidentally deleted your account or want to restore it, you can do so within 30 days of requesting deletion. To do this, you simply have to log in again.

After you have logged into snapchat.com, you have to click on "DELETE MY ACCOUNT" to delete your Snapchat account.
