1st step:

Download the AdwCleaner , for example from heise Download. Navigate to the download path of the file and right click on "adwcleaner.exe". Select "Run as administrator ".

If Dashboard is not automatically selected in the left menu , select it manually. Then click " Scan Now " to initiate a scan.

When the search is finished, the elements found appear. Now select the elements that you want to isolate and render harmless. Finally click on " Move to quarantine ".

You will now be asked to save your open work. If you have already done this, click on " Next ". AdwCleaner then closes all open applications.
