Would you like to protect your photos from unauthorized further use? Especially if you plan to publish your pictures on the Internet, it is advisable to provide them with a watermark. In this way, a third party can never use your pictures in their original version. There are several options and programs for inserting watermarks. In this article, we'll explain how to do this easily with PowerPoint.

Create watermarks using Microsoft PowerPoint

1st step:

Start Microsoft PowerPoint and create a new, blank slide . Then go to " Pictures " in the " Insert " tab .

2nd step:

Select your photo, then click " Insert ".

3rd step:

Go to the Insert tab again and this time click WordArt . You can also include your logo as a watermark . Instead, click on " Pictures ".

4th step:

Move the watermark to the desired position in the image and change the text .

5th step:

You can now adjust the appearance of the watermark. If necessary, change the formatting by setting the font, size and / or color . Make sure to make the watermark so large that it cannot be easily touched up. At the same time, it's important not to cover up too much of your photo. We recommend that you work slightly transparently . To do this, right- click the watermark and then click " Format Shape ".

6th step:

In the " form format " on the right side under " Text Options " you can now use the " transparency " by using the slider to adjust.

7th step:

If your watermark is a logo, right-click and choose " Format graphic ". In the newly displayed menu on the right-hand side, select the images icon . There you can adjust the slide control for the transparency of your logo under " Image transparency " .

8th step:

Highlight your photo and the watermark with [Ctrl] - and the left mouse button or press the key combination [Ctrl] + [A] to select both. Then click with your right mouse button in the image area and then on " Save as graphic ... ".

9th step:

Choose the location and give the new photo a file name . Finally click on " Save " to confirm .

Note: If you want to use the watermark for additional pictures, simply swap the pictures in PowerPoint and repeat the process described above for all the photos that you want to protect with a watermark.

1. Open PowerPoint, create a new slide and click the " Paste " to " images ".
2. Find your photo and click " Insert " again.
3. Now select " WordArt " in the " Insert " tab . To insert a logo, click on " Images ".
4. Position the watermark on your picture and change the text .
5. Make a right click on the watermark and then click "in format form " or for logos on " Format Picture ."
