For security reasons, you should change your Google password regularly. This is done in just a few steps. In the following guide we explain how you have to proceed to change your password in Google.

Note: Keep in mind that when you change your Google password, you automatically change the passwords of other Google services such as Youtube or Gmail.

How to change your Google password

1st step:

Log in to Google with your current password: https://myaccount.google.com/ Then click on " Personal data " in your Google account .

2nd step:

Scroll down and click on " Password ".

3rd step:

Now enter your old password again to identify yourself. Then click on " Next ".

4th step:

Now enter a new password twice . Be sure to choose a strong password. We explain how to find a secure password here. Finally, confirm your new password with " Change password ". Your password is now updated. You will then be asked to do a security check. If this is what you want to do, click the " Start Now " button . A next page will show you whether there are any security warnings regarding your Google account.
