1st step:
The Google password can be reset very easily. To do this, click on " Sign in " in the top right corner of the Google homepage .
2nd step:
Enter your Gmail address . In the next step you have to click on " Forgot your password? "
3rd step:
Various methods are now available to you for the further procedure. You may not be able to use every method because, for example, they didn't have a phone number on file . Click " Choose other options " repeatedly to view the different methods:
- Enter last known password: Enter the password and click " Next ". If it is correct, you can set a new password directly .
- Send confirmation code to a linked e-mail address: Clicking on " Send " sends a code to your saved e-mail address. Enter the code and click " Next ". You can now set a new password .
- Verification code to a linked phone message: Click " Send ". An SMS with a confirmation code is now sent to the stored mobile phone number. Enter this code and then click " Next ". You will now be able to enter a new password for your account.
- To specify an email address that you currently have access to: Enter the email address, then click Next . An email with a confirmation code will now be sent to this email address. Enter this in the field provided and then click on " Next ". With a click on " Done ", a Google employee will contact you within 3 working days. You can confirm your identity to this and receive new account access.
4th step:
Finally, you have to come up with a new password . Enter this under " Create password " and " Confirm password ". Here are some tips on how to find a strong password. Then click on " Change Password ". You have now set a new password and have full access to your Google account again..
