Can't sign in to iTunes anymore because you forgot your password? We'll explain what you can do..

In addition to downloading and listening to music from the Store, iTunes lets you manage your iPhone. You will need to use your Apple ID to sign in to iTunes. If you have forgotten the password for this, you have to reset it.

How to reset your iTunes password

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Open iTunes on your computer and click on " Account " at the top and select " Sign In ... " from the menu that appears .

2nd step:

Now click on the " Forgot your Apple ID or password? " Button .

3rd step.

A new window will now open in your browser. Enter your Apple ID there and click " Next ". If you've forgotten your Apple ID too, read on here.

4th step:

If you have activated two-factor authentication , take your iPhone and follow the instructions there to reset your password. If two-factor authentication is not activated, select in the browser how you want to reset your password. You can find more information on resetting your Apple ID password here.

5th step:

If you have received the e-mail or answered your security questions correctly, you can enter a new password . If you need help creating a strong password, check out our post on the topic. After creating a new Apple ID password, you can sign in to iTunes.

1. Open iTunes on your computer and click " Account ", then click " Sign In ... ". In the new window click on " Forgot your Apple ID or password? ".
2. A window opens in the browser in which you now enter your Apple ID and click the " Next " button.
3. If two-factor authentication is activated, take your iPhone and follow the instructions on it to reset your password. If you haven't set up two-factor authentication, choose whether you want to receive an email or answer your security questions in order to reset your password.
4. Once you have received the email or answered your security questions correctly, you can set a new password and log in to iTunes.
