Layers in the GIMP are a fundamental tool in image manipulation. They allow you to selectively change the transparency of the layer. If you don't see the Layers dialog in the GIMP, here's how to get it back.

Here's how you can view layers in GIMP

The lost layer selection is easy to find in the GIMP. Simply press the key combination [Ctrl] + [L] or read our step-by-step instructions or brief instructions .

1st step:

Open an image of your choice in GIMP and navigate to " Window " in the menu bar at the top .

Then go to " Dockable Dialogs " on " levels ".

You will now see the layers you have created for the image to the right of the image in the box
