Do you have a music collection on iTunes and want to synchronize it with your Android smartphone? There are two methods you can use to do this. The first one works without any additional software. If you want to automate the process and have no problem with additional software, the second method might be for you.

Method 1: download and copy

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

Note: These instructions assume that iTunes is authorized on your PC and that your songs are downloaded in your iTunes library. In case you don't know how to do this, take a look at this article..

1st step:

Navigate to the iTunes download folder . To do this, click on " Music " in the file explorer , then on " iTunes ", " iTunes Media " and finally on " Music ". There you will find the respective music folders organized hierarchically according to artist name, album and title.

2nd step:

Now connect your Android smartphone via USB cable and open either the internal memory or the SD card memory.

You can now right-click and paste your music here or create a new folder and save the music there. Note: If Windows offers to convert the files before copying them, just click on " No, copy only ".

4th step:

You can now play the copied music with a music player such as Google Play Music .

Method 2: iTunes synchronization with the free doubleTwist Sync app

1st step:

Download and install doubleTwist Sync on your PC and start the program. You must also download the doubleTwist Player for Android program from the Play Store onto your smartphone.

2nd step:

Make bottom right of the bubble a right click on the doubleTwist icon and select " Preferences " and " Use iTunes library ." Here's how to make sure your iTunes collection is synced.

Connect your Android smartphone to your PC with a USB cable . doubleTwist Sync will now start automatically. Select " Music " in the tab at the top . Below is the contents of your iTunes library. There you can choose which music tracks should be copied to your Android. The copying process starts with a click on " Sync now ".

If the process was successful, click on " Done ".

You can now listen to the songs in your iTunes library in the doubleTwist Player or another music player for Android.
